Developing projects that are immediately applicable to your community, while learning vital skills and knowledge, all while having fun.
By participating in franchises as a means of learning how to and not to start and complete projects of various complexities....being there with a critical eye....also by volunteering with the staff...to see the process from their side...seeing how different viewpoint alter our conceptions of what is real.
Some examples include putting on a TV show....in our case a netcast, or making a Movie.
Also, apprenticing with those forming shared-profits, as one means of skill aqcuisition and future job/career training.
For Teachers,
Guiding students in what lessons to learn from particular pursuits, examining their experiences for new ways of enhancing their understanding of fundamentals taught in the classroom, and developing avenues to higher learning for those so inclined, while providing alternatives for those having problems absorbing lessons conventionally.
Recommending what students should apply themselves toward to achieve the greatest gains in knowledge and understanding, essentially.
Helping us forge Neighborhood Academies which extend broad based learning to the general public, and Neighborhood Guilds, to sharpen the understanding and wise application of the skill sets that are learned at the Academies...doing this gives your students a further means of enhancing their understandings and sets them on a path of lifelong learning as a way to fulfillment.
